Fuel Donkey is currently looking for a city driver to transport and deliver petroleum products to customers.
About the role
The driver’s responsibilities will include but not limited to:
Perform pre and post trip inspections
Maneuver truck on all type of roads and customer sites, in all kind of weather conditions
Oversee loading and unloading
Use the latest technology to do the job effectively
Interact professionally with customer
Perform minor repairs
Must have a safety & compliance mindset
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of fuel experience
Excellent customer service skills
Experience with metering deliveries
Strong work ethic
Clean commercial driver abstract
Ability to lift 30-50 pounds
Flexibility to work weekends, evenings and overtime
Basic computer literacy skills
Certifications
Valid class 1 or 3
Standard First Aid
CSTS – Construction Safety Training System
PSTS – Petroleum Safety Training System
WHMIS – Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System
TDG Certificate
Terminal access badges considered an asset

POSITION OVERVIEW
This is a full time, permanent position in Edmonton, AB, working for two companies under the same owner and operator. The candidate must have previous experience managing an office independently and working with little supervision. The position is responsible for two primary roles – bookkeeping and office administration.
The successful candidate will be responsible for performing full cycle accounts payable and accounts receivable, reconciliations,
month and year end closings, and financial statement preparation. Reporting to the owner, the successful candidate will work
closely with our accountant, banker, operations manager and President while providing strategic guidance and direction to ensure
the company achieves its financial vision, mission and long-term goals.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Bookkeeper
- Issue invoices and monitor accounts receivable. Follow up with overdue payments and record payments received to proper accounts.
- Process A/P once management approval received
- Conduct monthly bank reconciliation
- Payroll processing
- Produce financial statements/spreadsheets and note any irregularities in comparison to budget
- Assist with annual audit
- Reconcile petty cash and corporate credit card accounts monthly
- Maintain an organized accounting filing system
- Be the point of contact for accounting and banking purposes
Office Administrator
- Group insurance
- Process new hires and terminations
- Experience with software and proficient with systems and programs (Octane, Payworks, Microsoft programs considered an asset)
- Champion of computer systems
- Daily pricing
- Track and order office supplies as required and within defined budget
- Maintain an organized and efficient filing system
- Utilize computer knowledge to organize files located on server
- Other duties as requested
Skills Required
- Accounting and/or Bookkeeping: 2 years (preferred) with Sage 300
- Payroll: 1 year (preferred)
- Detail-oriented with speed and accuracy in data entry
- Proficient math skills
- Dedication and discretion (ability to maintain privacy)
- Punctual and reliable
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Initiative, drive, sound judgement, and the ability to self-manage
- Diligence and commitment to follow through and resolve problems
- Attention to detail
- Willingness to adapt to new processes and learn new skills
- Confidence with technology, comfortable using web and mobile apps
- Competency with office software (email, word processing, spreadsheets)
